INNOVATION & EXPERIENCE
A Legacy of Firsts.
Decades of challenging what television, technology and interactive entertainment can do.
From early computer games to new broadcast formats and international studio networks, David Wainwright’s professional story reflects a willingness to build what did not yet exist in the market.
1984–1985 · Early computer games
David’s computer-game credits stretch back to the mid-1980s. The Centre for Computing History records him as the author of Gisburne’s Castle (1984) and co-author of Gyroscope (1985), both connected to the BBC Micro and Acorn Electron era. Those early projects established a foundation in original game concepts and software development.

2005 · Interactive television moves forward
David’s company history traces the development of an early interactive television casino format to 2005, combining traditional broadcast presentation with live audience participation. CasinoTV describes this as a world-first television casino; the claim is presented here as the company’s historical account rather than an independently adjudicated record.
The move from broadcast to mobile
CasinoTV’s historical presentation documents work at the forefront of live interactive gaming across television, websites and early mobile platforms. The television and native-app milestones occurred in different eras and should not be treated as a single 2005 launch.
Themed live entertainment

CasinoTV developed themed live roulette formats, including Bikini Beach, using design, performers and real-time interactivity to make the live studio part of the entertainment experience.
International studio delivery

Across subsequent years, the company’s portfolio expanded to include broadcast projects and dedicated facilities in Spain, Malta, the Philippines, Nigeria and other markets. Examples range from single bespoke studios to multi-room and multi-table production environments.
Original game development · Marble Run

David has continued to develop original interactive formats alongside his studio and software projects. His Marble Run game brings together mechanical engineering, bespoke design and live entertainment thinking. He also developed Hollywood Poker, an interactive poker game show combining game mechanics with broadcast-style digital presentation. Explore both projects.
The project reflects David’s hands-on approach to designing new experiences, from mechanical construction to the audience-facing format.
The next chapter · Studios, software & intelligent workflows
David brings experience creating physical production environments and bespoke technology to today’s opportunities: influencer-led content, in-house live streaming, software integration, automation and responsible uses of AI. The next first is driven by a real commercial problem and a workable production plan.
