ABOUT DAVID

Technology with a production purpose.

I am David Wainwright, a global broadcast consultant specialising in interactive studios for Shopping, News and Lottery. I help connect the programme concept with studio architecture, production technology and the practical work of running a broadcast.

A career across games, television and business.

My career began in computer games design in 1985 and developed into television marketing and interactive entertainment. That background shapes how I approach a project: the audience experience, production workflow and commercial purpose need to work together.

Today I bring that perspective to interactive studio consultancy across Shopping, News and Lottery. I work with the specialists a project needs, with clear responsibilities, local requirements and an agreed scope. Global positioning does not imply offices or completed projects in every market.

How I work

Ask the practical questions

Understand the format, constraints and decisions before proposing a technical solution.

Connect the disciplines

Help creative, technical and operational teams work from the same brief.

Keep delivery specific

Define the outputs, responsibilities and acceptance checks for the engagement.

A focused conversation, not a generic pitch.

Whether you are starting with an idea, reviewing an existing studio or planning a new interactive format, bring the brief as it stands. We can identify what is known, what needs research and which decisions should come first.

Start with a conversation.

Tell me your sector, project location and what you want the studio to deliver. We can discuss the production workflow, integration requirements and decisions to tackle next.
